Templar Warehouse – Jerusalem, Israel – 07:00 Israel Standard Time
A man’s worth is no greater than his ambitions. – Marcus Aurelius
This is the last scene in The Order of the Dragon chapter. Muhammed is back in the story and he is running the day-to-day Templar business in Jerusalem, including the plot to have Tuttle create mischief in Israel. More on that in a later post.
This scene shows Muhammed and his immediate supervisor having an argument on the best way to conduct business, and then Muhammed speaking with the top boss and complaining about his immediate supervisor.
Who hasn’t had a disagreement with their immediate supervisor? Who hasn’t had that feeling that the supervisor has no clue on how to accomplish the goals of the organization? If you have never felt this then you have lived an exceedingly blessed life and need to thank The Lord for placing such a hedge of protection around you… and then keep your mouth shut to the rest of us so as not to provoke us to profound depths of jealousy.
If you are one of the people who have had doubt in your supervisor, how did you handle it? Did you have it out with her/him? Did you discuss the situation positively? Are you proud of what you did or did you shoot yourself in the foot? These are the decisions young Muhammed must make as he moves through the story on his way to becoming the number two man within the Order of the Dragon.
